He has performed and recorded albums all over the world: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, Shanghai, Moscow, Sydney, Singapore, Oslo, Tokyo, Berlin, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Brussels and has held seminars in numerous European conservatories.
In 2013 and 2014 he recorded two CDs with Fabrizio Bosso and Jeremy Monteiro for the prestigious Verve Records label. He has six solo albums and fifty albums in collaboration with other artists.
In 2008 he organized “We Love Jazz 2008“, one of the most important European jazz seminars, inviting and coordinating teachers such as Benny Golson, Jimmy Cobb, Buster Williams, Joey DeFrancesco and George Cables. The seminar saw the participation of 104 students from all over the world and the intervention of a total of 3000 spectators at the concerts parallel to the initiative.
Since 2022 he has organized “Piemonte Blues Stop“, the only Italian workshop and one of the few in Europe lasting a week dedicated entirely to the blues, which has included in its teaching staff stars of the first magnitude such as Duke Robillard, Alex Schultz, Mudcat Ward and Sugar Ray Norcia.
He was invited to participate in an episode of the program “Superquark“, hosted by Piero Angela, as an expert musician of the Hammond organ, of which he can be considered one of the greatest European specialists.

“Being an organist, I always enjoy listening to others play the instrument. I’m really known for jazz organ, but the fact is that I enjoy playing and listening to all styles of music that involve the organ. The gentleman that you are listening to here on this particular recording is one of my very favorite organists.
ALBERTO MARSICO is a fantastic jazz organist, but here you hear him in another element, a rockish, bluesy kind of stuff, which I love a lot, and I’ve never heard anybody do it better than Alberto”

Joey DeFrancesco, liner notes of “Soundsville – Blues for Alice in Wonderland”, 2007

“As if he invented the genre, Alberto Marsico, with Jack Mc Duff’s and Jimmy Smith’s intimations, reminds us how the blues should be played and digested… “

Jimmy Woode, liner notes of “Spirit of the Moment”, 1999
